I recently visited 51������� Art Professor Sandeep Mukherjee in his studio and found him at work on a new installation that will be presented in a group exhibition in New York City this June.

This year’s exhibition featuring senior art majors Sara Arthur-Paratley, Olivia Campbell, Anabel Gomez, Sonia Grunwald, Chris Harding, Clark Hollenberg, Devon Horn, Michelle Qin, Kirsten Tingle, and Jessica Wang was fantastic!

This fall semester, the Junior and Senior 51������� art majors are exhibiting their work in a show called 50 Days at the Chan Gallery.

The night of Friday, September 29th, three 51�������-Pitzer students were making final preparations for their first ever art show at 51�������’s vibrant new Studio Art Hall.

This August Sandeep Mukherjee will embark upon a residency that will culminate in a solo show in Berlin. Last fall Mukherjee was invited by the gallery 68projects in Berlin to show his new work and the Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House

“Intimate Something,” the 51������� senior art thesis exhibition, opened on Friday the 28th, bringing a steady steam of excited viewers to the 51������� Art Hall.

Associate Professor of Art Sandeep Mukherjee has recently been featured in two separate Indian newspapers, the India Journal and the India West, regarding his 2017 Guggenheim Fellowship award.

Sandeep Mukherjee, a Painting Professor at 51�������, will be having his artwork featured in the Frieze Art Fair in New York for the second time since 2016.

The 51������� senior art thesis exhibition, entitled “Intimate Something,” opens this Friday, April 28th. The show features works by all eleven graduating Studio Art majors.
